Yes, simple and good. Do you have any other home remedies for the common cold to share?

The old chicken broth remedy, whether it truly works or not, always makes me feel better. Since we're learning more and more that the mind can trump matter, the ol' chicken broth may be effective. Add a little cayenne pepper as well to clear up those nasal passages.

Last year I was deathly ill, so much so that I had to leave work early for fear that my head was about to explode. I thought of the "sweat-it-out" method and decided to opt for the sauna at Pure Fitness.

I sat in the sauna for as long as I could stand it, and until I looked like I just got out of the pool. I left immediately, deciding to forgo the shower, turned the heat in my car on high, and drove the 45 min commute back to my house where I finally took a shower.

Considering how awful I felt that day, I was amazed at how this procedure kicked my flu's butt. I felt perfect the next day. I will use this method again next time and will post the results. Hopefully not too soon though.

Sometimes the only way to kick that cold or flu is with anti biotic and they are a little pricey, a good alternative is a herbal remedy called Olive Leaf that you can purchase at Henrys Trader Joes etc…

Cheers,
