This crowd pleasing recipe is always a winner. Succulent pulled pork is perfect on a buffet for casual parties. It is easy for guests to serve themselves. And, you will be amazed at how easy it is to cook and present to your guests.

I tried your recipe Christmas Day and it turned out great! It took 14 hours to get it to 195 degrees though, since it was 28 degrees outside when I put it on...well worth the wait however; it's the best I've ever cooked..thanks!

The smoked butt looks great! I'm with Chaos Motor, though - you really should pull it.

Despite the nitpicking, I'm sure it tasted fantastic.

Thanks Ricardo. It is nice to share work space with me some times huh? I plan on making more so I can work on the recipe, I expect you to help me eat it. Did you end up frying or baking your potatoes last night?

Hmm, I was actually fortunate enough to taste a little sample of the meat shown in the pictures. I must say that as awesome as those photos are, they don't do justice to how delicious it tastes. The Wasabi Bratwurst man is DA MAN!

@Gera How are the winter months treating you down there? Hope all is well.

@Anonymous thanks for the Alton brown video!

@Chaos Motor My pulled pork ninja skills are still very weak. A collapsing pulled pork that sounds heavenly. This is a new goal I need to aim for. Thanks for the tip.

@Ron W - Funny you mention about Hawaiian style, when I cook Kailua pig in the crock pot, I add a little bit of liquid smoke, a hint my friend Melissa's mom game me. Your recipe does not sound weird at all, it sounds killer! Will come check out your site later this weekend.

@Divina Pork is a guilty pleasure of mine :)

@Katie I know, it's been a long time! Life has been very hectic in a good way. But Wasabibrat kitchen is still cooking away, just not blogging too much about it. Will try to share more recent recipes.

Delicious! Good to see you back! I love pulled pork, and have always made it in the oven. Thanks for the tips, I will have to try one on the grill.
