This is so a scam. You are spending anywhere from $4 to $20 for a piece of junk steel that has been cleaned up and polished. there has been an interview with professors from colleges who have confirmed that stainless steel does nothing to remove smells or else we would not use it to cook with. Think about it!

@Jeff – I have a box of food grade rubber gloves stashed under my kitchen sink. We use a lot of spicy peppers around the house and we don’t want accidents to happen you know :D

Do these actually work? A family friend just gave me one of these as a gift, because I’m always cooking. She said that it would help me get rid of the “Pepper Smell” because I’m always cutting up Jalapeños & other peppers….

To be honest, I haven’t even taken it out of the plastic wrapping yet.

I’ve always rubbed my hands on the stainless steel sink… but I’m happy to know if I ever have another kind of sink, I’ll have a smell-eraser replacement!

Point taken regarding the stainless steel spoon. Good thing I like the shape and the looks of it! Matches with other things that are stainless and chrome in my kitchen! :)
